Coming Out Videos

Coming out can be really, really scary...and for those queer beauties who can't always orally communicate (i.e. people with autism or anxiety or mutism - selective or physical - or PTSD)...it can be physically impossible to just 'spit it out' as the abled queer community would expect. I've been there and I get it. So just play the videos and let them do the talking for you if that'll make the process a little easier. And remember that you are NEVER obligated to come out if you don't want to for any reason whatsoever.

So I'm making this playlist:

Coming Out - the official song (for coming out as gay or lesbian)

The Person Who Sent You This Is Asexual (for coming out as asexual, obviously)

The Person Who Sent You This Is Aromantic (for coming out as aromantic, obviously)

Transgender Adventure - Laci Green (this one is better for binary trans people)

I'm Pansexual?! - Laci Green (for coming out as pansexual)

BOYS CAN HAVE A VAG!! (for coming out as transgender; this one would work really well for coming out as genderqueer/nonbinary)

COMIN' OUT! (Bisexuality) (for coming out as bisexual)

BISEXUALITY <3 (also for coming out as bisexual)

Homo*Sexual (for coming out as gay or lesbian)

NO SEX?! - ASEXUALITY (for coming out as asexual, though this doesn't work if you're cupio/kalossexual. You can still use it for gray-a, though.)

Genderfluidity?! (for coming out as genderfluid)

5 Things You Should Know About Being Genderqueer (for coming out as genderqueer)

What is Agender? (for coming out as agender)

On Being Genderqueer (for coming out as genderqueer)

So pick a video and do your thing!!!

Also, since there aren't a lot of resources for coming out as nonbinary or genderqueer, I'm providing this comic I found today on Tumblr.

Also there's this article from Everyday Feminism.

And these articlescomics,  and videos that you can usetoo.

Good luck.

Love from Ari
